Product Quality Guarantee

At HoneyColor, product quality and customer safety are important to us. Every contact lenses we sell is supplied in sealed, sterile packaging and is subject to quality control standards before reaching you.

If you receive a lens with a manufacturing or packaging defect, we're here to help - Contact us.

Our Quality Guarantee
If your contact lenses arrive with an eligible manufacturing defect, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order.

After reviewing your claim, we may provide a replacement, store credit, or other appropriate resolution depending on the circumstances.

What We Cover
Our Product Quality Guarantee covers confirmed or reasonably verifiable product defects, including:

  • Torn, chipped, damaged, or deformed lenses when first removed from the original packaging

  • Lenses that appear defective before use

  • Lenses with visible manufacturing irregularities

  • Incorrect prescription/power compared with what was ordered and stated on the packaging

  • Incorrect product or color supplied

  • Empty or incorrectly filled blister packs

  • Leaking or improperly sealed blister packaging

  • Damaged or compromised packaging that may affect the sterility of the lens

  • Other manufacturing defects confirmed during our assessment

If you notice anything unusual with a lens, do not continue wearing it.

What Is Not Covered
Our Product Quality Guarantee does not cover issues unrelated to a manufacturing defect, including:

  • Change of mind

  • Ordering the incorrect prescription

  • Ordering the incorrect color, diameter, quantity, or product

  • Color appearing different from product photos

  • Differences in color caused by your natural eye color, lighting, makeup, camera settings, or display settings

  • Personal preference regarding enlargement, color intensity, pattern, or appearance

  • Lens discomfort without evidence of a product defect

  • Lens fit that is unsuitable for the wearer's eyes

  • Blurry vision caused by an incorrect prescription or unsuitable prescription

  • Dryness, irritation, redness, sensitivity, or allergic reactions

  • Damage caused while inserting, removing, cleaning, or handling the lens

  • Torn lenses caused by fingernails, tweezers, lens applicators, or improper handling

  • Lenses that have dried out after opening

  • Improper storage or failure to follow lens care instructions

  • Lenses worn beyond their recommended replacement period

  • Products that have been altered, contaminated, or improperly maintained

Individual eyes differ in shape, tear film, sensitivity, and tolerance. A lens that is comfortable for one wearer may not necessarily be suitable for another wearer. For this reason, comfort alone does not indicate a manufacturing defect.

Color & Appearance
Colored contact lenses interact with your natural iris color. The final appearance can therefore vary between individuals.

Product photographs are intended to provide a general representation of the lens design and color. Actual results may vary depending on:

  • Natural eye color

  • Pupil size

  • Lighting conditions

  • Camera and photography settings

  • Makeup

  • Screen and device display settings

Differences in appearance are not considered product defects.

Prescription & Vision
Customers are responsible for selecting the correct prescription when placing an order.

If you experience blurry or unclear vision, please first verify that the prescription printed on the lens packaging matches your order.

If the prescription supplied matches the prescription ordered, the product is generally not considered defective solely because the wearer experiences unclear vision.

Contact lenses should be worn according to the advice of a qualified eye-care professional.

If You Experience Discomfort
If a lens causes unusual discomfort, pain, excessive redness, irritation, or other unexpected symptoms: Remove the lens immediately and discontinue use. Do not continue wearing a lens that causes pain or significant irritation.

If symptoms continue after removing the lens, consult a qualified eye-care professional.

How to Make a Quality Claim
Please contact our Customer Care team and provide:

  1. Your order number

  2. Product name

  3. Prescription/power of the affected lens

  4. A clear description of the issue

  5. Clear photos or video showing the affected lens and issue

  6. A photo of the original blister packaging

  7. A photo showing the LOT/batch information and expiration date printed on the packaging

Please do not dispose of the lens, blister pack, or packaging until your claim has been reviewed.

We may request additional photographs, videos, packaging information, or ask for the affected product to be returned for further assessment.

Providing this information helps us identify the product and investigate potential manufacturing issues with our suppliers.

Claim Assessment
Submitting a claim does not automatically mean that the product is defective.

Each claim will be reviewed based on the information provided and, where applicable, the condition of the product and packaging.

If the issue is determined to be covered by our Product Quality Guarantee, HoneyColor may, depending on the circumstances:

  • Replace the affected lens or product

  • Provide store credit

  • Provide a refund for the affected product

  • Offer another appropriate resolution

The resolution offered will depend on product availability, the nature of the defect, and the circumstances of the claim.

Replacement Products
A replacement provided under the Product Quality Guarantee does not create a new guarantee period.

If the original product is discontinued or unavailable, we may offer an alternative product, store credit, or another appropriate solution.

Keep Your Packaging
We strongly recommend keeping your original lens packaging until you have inspected and worn your lenses.

The LOT/batch number, prescription, expiration date, and other information printed on the packaging are important for investigating product quality concerns.

Claims may be difficult to verify if the original packaging and identifying information are unavailable.

Important
Our Product Quality Guarantee applies to product quality and manufacturing defects. It does not replace professional eye-care advice or guarantee that a particular contact lens will be suitable for every wearer.

Always follow proper contact lens hygiene, wearing schedules, replacement schedules, and the advice of your eye-care professional.
