Rating I bought these specifically for a cosplay and they were perfect. They totally concealed my natural eye color (hazel) with an intense, opaque red. I wore them for several hours at an all-day convention. My eyes did get dry and I had to put in eyedrops, but they didn't bother me to the point of removing them. I agree with the other review that they do sting a little when you first put them in, but they weren't that bad. They served their purpose really well!

Rating These look exactly as pictured, bright red! When you put them in your eyes, they do sting a little bit, but after a few minutes, you get used to it. Not too comfortable, but manageable, good for costuming.
